Full day tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit.

Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world, at 440,000 square meters, and can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. In the square tourists can climb the Tiananmen Rostrum, attend the national flag raising ceremony every morning at sunrise, visit the National Museum of China, and go to the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, in which one will see the body of the great Chinese leader.
Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum, was home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the ancient time, the emperor claimed to be the son of the heaven and such divine place was certain forbidden for the ordinary people and it is why the Forbidden City is so called.
Hutong: The alleys give a wonderful glimpse into the world of yesterday in Beijing. While visiting the Beijing Hutong, you can appreciate the dramatic changes that the rest of Beijing has undergone. You can see evidence of the history of Beijing, experience the old way of life and experience traditional Beijing culture.

After breakfast, you will discover the world wonder-Badaling Great Wall (2 hours visit at least), and go on to explore Sacred Way of Ming Tombs, Jade stone workshop visit en route. photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube.

The Badaling Great Wall: locates only 70 km from Beijing. Constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it extends in all directions which is the reason it be called Badaling. Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall resound in the whole world, it is the first part which open to tourist of the Great Wall.
The Sacred Way: inside the gate of the Ming Tomb is lined with 18 pairs of stone human figures and animals. These include four each of three types of officials: civil, military and meritorious officials, symbolizing those who assist the emperor in the administration of the state, plus four each of six types of animals: lion, griffin, camel, elephant, unicorn and horse.
Bird Nest: The Beijing National Stadium, also known as the" bird's nest" was the main track and field stadium for the 2008 Summer Olympics and host to the Opening and Closing ceremonies. The stadium's appearance is one of synergy, with no distinction made between the facade and the superstructure.
Water Cube: The National Aquatics Centre, also known as 'The Water Cube', is one of the most dramatic and exciting venues to host sporting events for the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Located inside the Beijing Olympic Green, it is axially related to the National Stadium on the north part of Beijing Central Axis.

DAY4Beijing (B/L/SD)

Today you will visit the Temple of Heaven (watch local people doing all kinds of morning exercise and learn to do Chinese Tai Chi with Tai Chi master for 30 minutes ), Summer Palace & Pearl workshop visit. Enjoy Peking Duck dinner tonight.

The Temple of Heaven is a large park and temple complex situated in more or less the south central area of Beijing. Its center piece is a large tower built, it is said, entirely of wood and not using a single nail. It is said that the main features of the park are its trees and inhabitants.
Summer Palace is regarded as the best preserved imperial garden in the world, and the largest of its kind still in existence in China. The Chinese call it Yihe Yuan (Garden of Restful Peace), and the landscaped gardens, temples, and pavilions were designed to achieve harmony with nature, to soothe, and to please the eye. The Summer Palace was listed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO in 1998.

DAY5Beijing-Xian by Flight (B/L/-)

Today you will be transferred to airport for flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, visit to the Provincial Museum & Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Stay overnight at the Jian Guo Hotel Xian.

Shanxi Provincial Museum is a tribute to Shaanxi's glamorous imperial past. The museum building was designed in China's grand and elegant ancient Tang Dynasty (618-907) style. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) for the study of Buddhist scriptures. Although it has been attacked by centuries of weather, war and seismic activity, which destroyed most of the original material of the structure, a pagoda by this name and style still exists on the site. It is filled with beautiful gardens and stunning architecture.

Full day excursion to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Enjoy the Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show tonight.

The Terracotta Army Museum: lies 1.5 km east of The Tomb of Qin Shihuang, who unified China 2200 years ago. Emperor Qin, from whom China gets its name, ordered the creation of this model army. It is certainly one of the most memorable parts of any trip to China. The site was made a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987.
Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show :  Visitors to Xian get a chance to step back in time and relive this fantastic era at the Tang Dynasty Show. Visitors upon entering the theater are taken to their seats for a dinner of Jiaozi (dumplings). After eating, the show begins. It is a spectacle of color, culture, music, and dance. The spectacular music and beautiful costumes with long flowing sleeves perfectly match and complement each other. It is a show not to be missed.

DAY8Shanghai (B/L/D)

Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund and Tianzifang Artist Area. Famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight.

Yuyuan Garden is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan Market. Built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty in the Suzhou style by a high official Pan Yunduan in honor of his father, the garden has maintained its classic beauty over the centuries. The Yuyuan Garden was considered the best garden in Southeast China. It is a renowned traditional landscape garden in Jiangnan.
Shanghai Museum is to the south of the People's Square in the downtown area.As a museum of ancient Chinese art, Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy.
The Bund is a 1.5-kilometer-long boulevard on the western bank of the Huangpu River. For more than 100 years, it has been the symbol of Shanghai. Shanghai people are proud of the Bund. It shows the culture of Shanghai and the creation of modern civilization to people.

Bus excursion to Suzhou. Visit Garden of Net Master, Lingering Garden, the Grand Canal, Silk spinning factory and the local market, Return to Shanghai.

Garden of Master of Nets is situated on the southeast of Yukuojia Tou Lane in Suzhou ancient city. This exquisite garden was first designed during the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279) and it was later restored as the residence of a government official from whom the garden got its name. In 1997 it was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
The Lingering Garden  is one of the four most famous gardens in China. Possessing typical Qing style, in 1997, the garden was recorded on the list of the world heritage by UNESCO. The Lingering Garden seeks to create stunning natural landscapes within limited space. Buildings, trees, and flowers blend harmoniously with their surroundings.
The Grand Canal is the oldest and longest man-made waterway in the world. Parts of this canal between Hangzhou and Beijing date back more than 2000 years. The canal we see today was built section by section in different areas and dynasties before it was linked together by the Sui Dynasty (581-618).The Grand Canal is noted as one of the most magnificent and wondrous constructions in ancient China, which can really offer one a profound look into China's fascinating, historical past.

DAY11Shanghai-Huangshan by Flight (B/-/D)

Today you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Tunxi. On arrival, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to International Hotel Huangshan.

DAY12Huangshan (B/L/D)

Today you will visit Yellow Mountain Scenic Area, take the cable car up to the Yellow Mountain and enjoy the scenic spots on the Mountain. Stay at the North Sea Hotel.

Yellow Mountain is located in the south of Anhui Province. It is a scenic area that covers over 250 square kilometers, known as "the loveliest mountain in China", The mountains are characterized by their "grotesque" granite peaks and pine trees jutting out at odd angles.
According to the Chinese Tourism authorities, Huangshan is famous for four its "four wonders": the wind-carved pines, spectacular granite peaks, sea of clouds and hot springs. More often than not, Huangshan is shrouded in mist making it especially picturesque. It is one of China's UNESCO World Heritage Sights. There are two routes to the peaks. One is by cable car and the other is trekking.

Enjoy the sunrise at top the Mountain and descend to Tunxi. Explore the old town of Xidi before flying back to Shanghai. Stay at the Ocean Hotel Shanghai.

Xidi Village was located 25 miles away from Huangshan and listed along with Hongcun Village as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2000. There two ancient village are the mist representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province. With a history of over 900 years, Xidi Village is peaceful with a hidden charm to be discovered like in a fairy tale. With mountains surrounding it, clear streams flowing through it, and goldfish ponds and paddy fields interspersed throughout, Xidi Village looks too picturesque to be real.
