DAY2Beijing

In the morning, you will start the tour by visiting Tiananmen Square, the symbol of Beijing. It will be followed by visiting Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and roaming along Wangfujing Street  which is the most well-known and prosperous business street with modern and fashion trends. 
 
Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world, at 440,000 square meters, and can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. In the square tourists can climb the Tiananmen Rostrum, attend the national flag raising ceremony every morning at sunrise, visit the National Museum of China, and go to the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, in which one will see the body of the great Chinese leader.
Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum, was home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the ancient time, the emperor claimed to be the son of the heaven and such divine place was certain forbidden for the ordinary people and it is why the Forbidden City is so called. 
The Temple of Heaven is a large park and temple complex situated in more or less the south central area of Beijing. Its center piece is a large tower built, it is said, entirely of wood and not using a single nail. It is said that the main features of the park are its trees and inhabitants.

DAY3Beijing

Today you will discover the world wonder-the Great Wall, Mutianyu section which is less crowed than other sections. Ming Tombs is also your today’s attraction besides Great Wall. And then you will have a photo stop at the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube.
 
Mutianyu Great Wall, located in Huairou County about 45 miles from Beijing, Mutianyu Great Wall enjoys a long history and is part of the glorious culture of China. The wall was first built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 557). Mutianyu Great Wall winds 1.4 miles through lofty mountains and high ridges, many sections of which are made of granite. The unique structure makes the wall almost indestructible. 
The Ming Tombs, located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, are surrounded by mountains on three sides. There are 13 Ming Dynasty emperors buried there (along with 23 empresses and a number of concubines, princes and princesses), thus it is also called The 13 Mausoleums. These tombs are the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs and have been nominated by UNESCO as world cultural heritage.
Bird Nest: The Beijing National Stadium, also known as the" bird's nest" was the main track and field stadium for the 2008 Summer Olympics and host to the Opening and Closing ceremonies. The stadium's appearance is one of synergy, with no distinction made between the facade and the superstructure.
Water Cube: The National Aquatics Centre, also known as 'The Water Cube', is one of the most dramatic and exciting venues to host sporting events for the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Located inside the Beijing Olympic Green, it is axially related to the National Stadium on the north part of Beijing Central Axis.

DAY4Beijing – Shanghai by Flight

After breakfast in the hotel, you will start your last day tour in Beijing by having a Hutong tour with rickshaw and visiting Summer Palace. Transfer to airport for flight to Shnaghai. Your tour guide will meet you at the Shanghai airport and transfer you to hotel for free. 
 
Hutong: The alleys give a wonderful glimpse into the world of yesterday in Beijing. While visiting the Beijing Hutong, you can appreciate the dramatic changes that the rest of Beijing has undergone. You can see evidence of the history of Beijing, experience the old way of life and experience traditional Beijing culture.
Summer Palace is regarded as the best preserved imperial garden in the world, and the largest of its kind still in existence in China. The Chinese call it Yihe Yuan (Garden of Restful Peace), and the landscaped gardens, temples, and pavilions were designed to achieve harmony with nature, to soothe, and to please the eye. The Summer Palace was listed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO in 1998.

Yuyuan Garden is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan Market. Built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty in the Suzhou style by a high official Pan Yunduan in honor of his father, the garden has maintained its classic beauty over the centuries. The Yuyuan Garden was considered the best garden in Southeast China. It is a renowned traditional landscape garden in Jiangnan. 
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower has become one of the modern symbols of Shanghai. The 468 meter tall tower is the tallest in Asia and the third tallest TV tower in the world.The bird’s eye view from its observation platform is amazing, especially at night, you will totally shock by the beautiful night scenery of Shanghai.
Shanghai Museum is to the south of the People's Square in the downtown area.As a museum of ancient Chinese art, Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. 
The Bund is a 1.5-kilometer-long boulevard on the western bank of the Huangpu RiverXin Tian Di, which means "the New World" in English, is located at the very centre of the City. Covering a total area of 30,000 square meters, it is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.

DAY6Shanghai – Hangzhou by Train

Morning after breakfast in the hotel, your tour guide and driver will escort you to the train station for train to Hangzhou, which only takes 1 hour by high speed train. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the exit and start your Hangzhou tour of West Lake which is the highlight in any Hangzhou tours, as well as Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Viewing Fish at Flower Pond, Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak
 
West Lake is like a shining pearl inlaid on the vast land of China, which is a symbol of Hangzhou, reputed for beautiful scenery, brilliant cultural relics, and a profusion of native products. The picturesque lake deserves its fame, with ten scenic views adding natural beauty to the unique cultural value of the environment. 
Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is located in the south central portion of Hangzhou’s West Lake, shown on the 1 RMB note. The name also refers to Xiaoying Island, one of the three islands in West Lake.The three pools refer to the three pear-shaped pagodas arranged in a triangle in the water. Each pagoda has five round holes in t and when it lit candles are placed into each pagoda, the light from these candles together with the moonlight reflecting off the water give the rise to the naming of this feature as “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon”
Lingyin Temple is located at the foot of the Lingyin Mountain, northwest of West Lake, the Lingyin Temple is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China. Surrounded the temple are majestic peaks and sky -reaching ancient trees, it is really a tourist attraction that can offer you appealing places of historic interest, cultural relics and natural scenery. 
Feilai Peak stands in front of the Ling Yin Temple. Unlike any other surrounding mountains, it has various caves formed through underground water erosion, such as the Dragon cave, Yuru cave and the Shexu cave, each with its own legendary story. Multifarious grotesque stones with various shapes on the peak, like charming dragons, running elephants, prostrate tigers and frightened monkeys make the peak like a zoo of stone animals. 
Viewing Fish at Flower Pond: Flower Harbor Park is consisting of Red Carp Pond, Penoy Garden, Flower Garden, widespread lawns and woods, occupying an area of 21 hectares. Flower Harbor is famed for its half-a-year-long flower scenery. A visit to the Flower Harbor is a trip into a picturesque poem. Tourists can enjoy the swarms of carp whilst leaning on the rails of a zigzaging bridge

DAY7Hangzhou – Guilin by Flight

Transfer to airport for taking a morning flight to Guilin from Hangzhou. When you arrive at Guilin airport, you will meet your guide and have a half day tour of Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave after lunch. 
 
Elephant Trunk Hill is located at the confluence of Li River and Peach Blossom River in the southwest of Guilin city and the symbol of Guilin. It looks like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water hence the name. 
Reed Flute Cave is absolutely a must-see attraction which will be the most impressive cave in Guilin. The cave is filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites, rocks in all strange shapes.

DAY8Guilin – Yangshuo

After breakfast, your guide and driver will escort you to Zhujiang pier for the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, which takes 4 hours. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you are free to roam around the West Street. Stay overnight at Yangshuo hotel. 
 
The Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. The Li River originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County and flows in the general southern direction through Guilin, Yangshuo and Pingle. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Enjoy your experience in idyllic surroundings.
West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China.
