DAY2Beijing

After breakfast in the hotel, you will explore the well-known Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. After lunch, you will continue to visit Temple of Heaven
 
Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world, at 440,000 square meters, and can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. In the square tourists can climb the Tiananmen Rostrum, attend the national flag raising ceremony every morning at sunrise, visit the National Museum of China, and go to the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, in which one will see the body of the great Chinese leader.
Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum, was home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the ancient time, the emperor claimed to be the son of the heaven and such divine place was certain forbidden for the ordinary people and it is why the Forbidden City is so called. 
The Temple of Heaven is a large park and temple complex situated in more or less the south central area of Beijing. Its center piece is a large tower built, it is said, entirely of wood and not using a single nail. It is said that the main features of the park are its trees and inhabitants.

DAY3Beijing

After breakfast, you will discover amazing Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs
 
The Badaling Great Wall locates only 70 km from Beijing. Constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it extends in all directions which is the reason it be called Badaling. Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall resound in the whole world, it is the first part which open to tourist of the Great Wall.
The Ming Tombs, located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, are surrounded by mountains on three sides. there are 13 Ming Dynasty emperors buried there (along with 23 empresses and a number of concubines, princes and princesses), thus it is also called The 13 Mausoleums. These tombs are the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs and have been nominated by UNESCO as world cultural heritage.

DAY4Beijing – Xian by Flight

Today you will visit Beijing Hutong to experience the culture and life of Beijing. After lunch, you will be transferred to airport for flight to Xian. Our Xian tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your Xian hotel.
Hutong: The alleys give a wonderful glimpse into the world of yesterday in Beijing. While visiting the Beijing Hutong, you can appreciate the dramatic changes that the rest of Beijing has undergone. You can see evidence of the history of Beijing, experience the old way of life and experience traditional Beijing culture.

Hutong

DAY5Xian

Today you will discover the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horse Figurines. After lunch, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower and Muslim Street.
 
The Terracotta Army Museum lies 1.5 km east of The Tomb of Qin Shihuang, who unified China 2200 years ago. Emperor Qin, from whom China gets its name, ordered the creation of this model army. It is certainly one of the most memorable parts of any trip to China. The site was made a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987.
Bell Tower was originally built in 1348, toward the end of the Yuan Dynast, and rebuilt and enlarged during the Qing Dynasty. The bell tower is a wooden structure topped with dark green tiles. It is a grand ancient building with traditional Chinese architectural features and symbol of Xian.

DAY6Xian – Shanghai by Flight

After breakfast, you will visit Shanxi Provincial Museum and Ancient City Wall. After lunch, you will transfer to airport to fly to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai, your guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel. 
 
Ancient City Wall was erected in the 14th century Ming Dynasty, under the regime of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xian is the ancient city wall, which stretches round the old city. 
 
Shanxi Provincial Museum is a tribute to Shaanxi's glamorous imperial past. The museum building was designed in China's grand and elegant ancient Tang Dynasty (618-907) style. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.

Your will start your trip after breakfast after visiting Yu Garden and Jade Buddha Temple, you will continue to excurse Shanghai Museum and The Bund
 
Yuyuan Garden is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan Market. Built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty in the Suzhou style by a high official Pan Yunduan in honor of his father, the garden has maintained its classic beauty over the centuries. The Yuyuan Garden was considered the best garden in Southeast China. It is a renowned traditional landscape garden in Jiangnan. 
Jade Buddha Temple was built during the reign of Guang Xu, in the Qing Dynasty. It is also the home of the Shanghai Buddhism Institute. There are two precious jade Buddhist statues which are not only rare cultural relics but also porcelain artworks. Both the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha are carved with whole white jade. 
Shanghai Museum is to the south of the People's Square in the downtown area.As a museum of ancient Chinese art, Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. 
The Bund is a 1.5-kilometer-long boulevard on the western bank of the Huangpu River. For more than 100 years, it has been the symbol of Shanghai. Shanghai people are proud of the Bund. It shows the culture of Shanghai and the creation of modern civilization to people.

DAY8Shanghai – Guilin by Flight

Today you will discover the Jin Mao Tower, XinTian Di. After lunch you will be transferred to airport for flight to Guilin. Your Guilin Guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. 
 
Jin Mao Tower is a very high tech looking building which offers fantastic views of the Pudong, Huangpu Districts, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Jinmao Tower is 420.5m high, and its total construction area is 290,000 square meters. It is the third tallest tower on Earth represents a triumph of modern engineering and architectural theory. 
Xin Tian Di, which means "the New World" in English, is located at the very Centre of the City. Covering a total area of 30,000 square meters, it is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.

Jin Mao Tower

DAY9Guilin

After breakfast your guide will escort you to Zhujiang Pier for Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. You will roam around West Street when you arrive in Yangshuo. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. 
 
The Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. The Li River originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County and flows in the general southern direction through Guilin, Yangshuo and Pingle. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Enjoy your experience in idyllic surroundings.
West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China.

DAY10Depart Guilin

Today you will visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave. After tour your guide will transfer you to airport for your flight back home. 
 
Elephant Trunk Hill is located at the confluence of Li River and Peach Blossom River in the southwest of Guilin city and the symbol of Guilin. It looks like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water hence the name. 
Reed Flute Cave is absolutely a must-see attraction which will be the most impressive cave in Guilin. The cave is filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites, rocks in all strange shapes.
