DAY2Beijing

Today you will visit the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world, at 440,000 square meters, and can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. In the square tourists can climb the Tiananmen Rostrum, attend the national flag raising ceremony every morning at sunrise, visit the National Museum of China, and go to the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, in which one will see the body of the great Chinese leader.

Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum, was home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the ancient time, the emperor claimed to be the son of the heaven and such divine place was certain forbidden for the ordinary people and it is why the Forbidden City is so called.

Summer Palace is regarded as the best preserved imperial garden in the world, and the largest of its kind still in existence in China. The Chinese call it Yihe Yuan (Garden of Restful Peace), and the landscaped gardens, temples, and pavilions were designed to achieve harmony with nature, to soothe, and to please the eye. The Summer Palace was listed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO in 1998.

DAY3Beijing

Today your guide will take you to the famous Badaling Great Wall, 2 hours visit at least. Then go to visit Jade stone workshop. You can take photos at the Bird Nest & Water Cube.

The Badaling Great Wall locates only 70 km from Beijing. Constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it extends in all directions which is the reason it be called Badaling. Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall resound in the whole world, it is the first part which open to tourist of the Great Wall.

DAY4Beijing

After breakfast, you can visit the Temple of Heaven and watch local people doing all kinds of morning exercise, including Chinese Tai Chi. Then visit Pearl factory. Last you can enjoy Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit.

The Temple of Heaven is a large park and temple complex situated in more or less the south central area of Beijing. Its center piece is a large tower built, it is said, entirely of wood and not using a single nail. It is said that the main features of the park are its trees and inhabitants.

Hutong: The alleys give a wonderful glimpse into the world of yesterday in Beijing. While visiting the Beijing Hutong, you can appreciate the dramatic changes that the rest of Beijing has undergone. You can see evidence of the history of Beijing, experience the old way of life and experience traditional Beijing culture.

DAY5Beijing/Xian

Today you will fly to Xi’an. Visit to the Shanxi Provincial Museum & Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Shanxi Provincial Museum is a tribute to Shaanxi's glamorous imperial past. The museum building was designed in China's grand and elegant ancient Tang Dynasty (618-907) style. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) for the study of Buddhist scriptures. Although it has been attacked by centuries of weather, war and seismic activity, which destroyed most of the original material of the structure, a pagoda by this name and style still exists on the site. It is filled with beautiful gardens and stunning architecture.

DAY6Xian

Today is a full day excursion to the world-known Terracotta Warriors Museum, and you will visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. At night you can enjoy the Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show.

The Terracotta Army Museum lies 1.5 km east of The Tomb of Qin Shihuang, who unified China 2200 years ago. Emperor Qin, from whom China gets its name, ordered the creation of this model army. It is certainly one of the most memorable parts of any trip to China. The site was made a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987.

DAY7Xian/Guilin

Today you will fly to Guilin. After you arrive at Guilin, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave.

Reed Flute Cave is absolutely a must-see attraction which will be the most impressive cave in Guilin. The cave is filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites, rocks in all strange shapes.

DAY8Guilin/Yangshuo

In the morning you will enjoy the Li River Cruise with lunch on board, and explore West Street in Yangshuo before drive back to Guilin.

The Li River originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County and flows in the general southern direction through Guilin, Yangshuo and Pingle. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Enjoy your experience in idyllic surroundings.

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China.

DAY9Guilin

It is a free day in Guilin. You can arrange by yourself.

DAY10Guilin/Chongqing

Today you will fly to Chongqing. After you arrive at Chognqing, you will visit the Panda Zoo, and enjoy local flavored hot pot dinner before embarkation of the MV Gold #2 Cruise (5-star Cruise, standard cabin with private balcony). Tonight you will live in MV Gold#2 Cruise, and prepare for the next day Three Gorges Sailing.

DAY11Three Gorges

Today will start our sail for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges and deep mountain valleys. Shore excursion in the afternoon to the ghost city of Fengdu, where the temples reveal ancient Chinese religion and legends with their imaged construction and the ghost stature for people lucky praying.

The Three Gorges Dam Site is 27 miles upstream from Yichang City proper, at Sandouping Town, 38km upstream from the Gezhouba Dam Lock, inside the third of the Three Gorges. The Three Gorges Dam Site is planned to be by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. The Project calls for the construction of a concrete dam, a hydroelectric power plant and a series of locks just below the scenic Three Gorges region. The project is completed in year 2009.

DAY12Three Gorges

Today will sailing into the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, and the river changes to wildly stirring, riffle water along with swirling bubbles. The mossy cliffs are hemmed by the banging pathways under the Twelve Peaks. When the boat gets to the famed Shennong Steam, we change to small boat and sail deep into the fabled Lesser Three Gorges for 3 hours exploration. When we get to the upstream, we change to small sampans pulling up by man trackers on bubbled water to ethnic village; they celebrate our visiting by singing local songs along the sampan trip while we enjoy the most scenic of all gorges for an excursion. Then we return to our boat and continue sail into the Xiling Gorge.

DAY13Yichang/Shanghai

In the morning you will excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site and pass through the 5 ship locks with lowering our boat down 412 feet, before we end our cruise at Yichang. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai.

DAY14Shanghai

Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Xintiandi and Pudong New Development Zone. At night you can enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show.

Shanghai Museum is to the south of the People's Square in the downtown area.As a museum of ancient Chinese art, Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy.

Yuyuan Garden is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan Market. Built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty in the Suzhou style by a high official Pan Yunduan in honor of his father, the garden has maintained its classic beauty over the centuries. The Yuyuan Garden was considered the best garden in Southeast China. It is a renowned traditional landscape garden in Jiangnan.

The Bund is a 1.5-kilometer-long boulevard on the western bank of the Huangpu River. For more than 100 years, it has been the symbol of Shanghai. Shanghai people are proud of the Bund. It shows the culture of Shanghai and the creation of modern civilization to people.

Xin Tian Di, which means "the New World" in English, is located at the very Centre of the City. Covering a total area of 30,000 square meters, it is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.
