Day 1
Arrive / Beijing
When you arrive in Beijing, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel where you will have time to relax and settle down.
Day 2
Beijing ( B, L )
Today"s tour will first bring you to the Tiananmen Square and then to the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact group of ancient structures in the Imperial Palace. This palace was home to 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors who ruled China for over 500 years. After a few hours at the Forbidden City, you will eat lunch and then head to the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. If there is enough time in the day, you will also be able to see the Temple of Heaven.
Day 3
Beijing ( B, L )
Today"s trip will be the amazing Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After hiking for a few hours, you will have lunch and then visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. At night you will watch an acrobatic show and then return to your hotel.
Day 4
Beijing / Xi'an ( B, L )
Today you will fly to Xi'an, the ancient capital city of China. When you first arrive in Xi'an you will visit the ancient City Wall followed by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight"s dinner will consist of an imperial dumpling banquet followed by a show of dancing and music from the Tang Dynasty.
Day 5
Xi'an ( B, L )
After eating breakfast, you will visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, widely regarded as the eighth wonder of the world and then visit the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
Day 6
Xi'an / Chengdu ( B, L, D )
Today you will fly from Xi'an to Chengdu.Upon arriving in Chengdu, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a rest before you are taken out for a delicious dinner of Sichuan cuisine at a local restaurant.
Day 7
Chengdu ( B, L )
On this day, you will visit the ChengduResearch Base of Giant Panda Breeding, followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu and Jili Old Street.
Day 8
Chengdu / Guilin ( B, L )
You will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Guilin.Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.
Day 9
Guilin / Yangshuo / Guilin ( B, L )
After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. In Yangshuo, after roaming through the famed West Street, you will be driven back to Guilin.
Day 10
Guilin / Shanghai ( B, L )
Today's excursion will bring you to Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination-Shanghai.Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.
Day 11
Shanghai ( B, L )
On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai's past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yu Garden. After, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple.
Day 12
Shanghai / Exit ( B, L )
After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
