Day 1
Arrive / Lijiang
Tour sites:the Lion Hill, the Ancient City
Arrive in lijiang. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Have a tour to Lion Hill and the Ancient City.
The Lion Hill -- Both the hill and the wooden structure called Wangulou which provides good views of the Old Town and the surrounding countryside.
The Ancient City -- The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997. Be transferred to the hotel after the tour.
Day 2
Lijiang ( B, L, D )
Tour sites: the Baisha Mural Paintings, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Be picked up from your hotel in the morning. Full day trip to the Baisha Mural Paintings and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In the evening, enjoy Music show of Dongba People at the ancient town, which features wonderful displays of folk songs.
The Baisha Mural Paintings -- With the spread of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls in temples since Ming Dynasty.
The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain -- Locating between 10004'-10016'east longitude and 2703'-2740' north latitude, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain) is the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest one with an altitude of 5,600 meters (18,360 feet), Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers (22 miles) and a width of 20 kilometers (13 miles). Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers (nine miles) away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence, the name Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Day 3
Lijiang / Exit
Be picked up from your hotel and transferred to airport for the flight to the next destination.
Service ends.
