Day 1
Arrive / Chengdu
Tour sites: the Wangjiang Tower Park
Our tour guide will pick you up from Chengdu airport and transfer to hotel. Visit the Wangjiang Tower Park later.
The Wangjiang Tower Park --located on the south bank of Jinjiang River, Wangjiang (overlooking the river from distance) Tower is a memorial to a female poet of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) - Xue Tao. It is also a symbol of Chengdu City and an ideal place to appreciate bamboo.
Day 2
Chengdu ( B, L , D )
Tour sites: the Panda Base, the Wuhou Temple, the Jinli street
Today our city tour is including: the Panda Base, the Wuhou Temple and the Jinli Street.
The Panda Base -- the base is located on the mountain of Futoushan in the northern suburbs of the city, where you can see pandas bred in nature.
The Wuhou Temple -- Itwas built in the sixth century to commemorate Zhuge Liang (Kongming), known for his great wisdom.
The Jinli street --which has nearly 100 kinds of shops, not only the traditional food, snacks and Inn, but also Fashion shops and bars.
Day 3
Chengdu / Leshan / Mt. Emei (B,L,D)
Tour sites: The Leshan Giant Buddha, Mt. Emei
Drive to visit Leshan Giant Buddha and then drive on to the Mt. Emei and check in the hotel at the foot of Mt. Emei. Rest time of the day is at leisure.
The Leshan Giant Buddha --It is the biggest Buddhism statue in the world with 71 meters tall and age of over 900 years.
Day 4
Mt. Emei / Chengdu (B,L)
Tour sites : the Baoguo Temple, the Wannian Temple
Drive to the Mt. Emei, pay a visit to the Baoguo Temple and the Wannian Temple and then drive back to Chengdu.
Mt. Emei(160km) -- it is one of the four sacred Buddhist Mountains of China. Along with Wutai Mount, Jiuhua Mount and Putuo Mount, it was famous for its various sceneries described as "four seasons in one mountain, variable climates within ten kilometers". The four great spectacles- Sea of clouds, Sunrise, Buddha Rays, and Saint Lamps are the must-sees when traveling in Emei.
The Baoguo Temple-- Situated in the Valley of Lingshan Mountain, it is the oldest and most completely preserved wooden structure construction in South China with over 970 years of age.
The Wannian Temple -- it is the oldest surviving Emei monastery (reconstructed in the 9th century).
Chengdu / Exit (B)
Be picked up from your hotel in Chengdu and transferred to airport for departure.
