Day 1
Arrive / Pingyao
You will be met on arrival at the airport or railway station by one of our dedicated local guides, who will bring you to the hotel in Pingyao.
Day 2
Pingyao ( B, L )
Tour sites: the Ancient City Walls, the Mingqing Street, the Chenghuang Temple, the Tongxing Gong, the Shuanglin Monastery
Leave in the morning for a tour of the ancient City Walls, Mingqing Street, and the Chenghuang Temple. Next is a trip to the Tongxinggong, an old bank security company housed in the heart of historic Pingyao. Finally the tour will take you to the beautiful Shuanglin Monastery.
The Ancient City Wall of Pingyao City -- The city of Pingyao is one of the four remaining well-preserved ancient cities in China. The city wall has a perimeter of 6.4 kilometers and is over 12 meters high and 3.5 meters wide.
heMingqing Street --Ming and Qing Street, also called Nanda Jie. It is one of the busy and interesting streets in which to experience ancient Chinese culture. It is 440 long, Ming and Qing Street used to be the commercial center of Pingyao ancient city.
Day 3
Pingyao / Taiyuan / Exit
A bus shall take you back to Taiyuan and drop you off at the airport for your departure.
