Arrive / Shanghai
Upon arrival Shanghai, your tour guide will meet you the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 2
Shanghai ( B, L, D )
Tour sites: Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, Huangpu River Cruise
Yuyuan Garden -- it is the largest of Shanghai's ancient gardens with Ming and Qing architectural styles. The garden has six areas, each with its own style. The Grand Rockery, in the center of the Garden, is the most renowned sight.
The Bund -- Situated on the east bank of the Huangpu River, here, one can enjoy the bracing air and fine sunshine as well as seeing something of the many activities along the river. The new finance and commercial houses cluster together along the south of the Bund while along the west there is a wealth of grand buildings in the European architectural styles of the nineteen-twenties, thirties and early forties.
Huangpu River Cruise -- The Huangpu River is not only the mother river of Shanghai, but also assembles the splendid tourist attractions of the city. In Shanghai, the Huangpu River cruise is a traditional tourist program. Cruises are available everyday, including the shorter cruises (navigating the main waterfront area between the Yangpu Bridge and the Nanpu Bridge) and the complete cruises (meandering eastward along the golden waterway, over a distance of 60 kilometers or 37 miles).
Day 3
Shanghai / Zhujiajiao / Shanghai ( B, L )
Tour sites: Zhujiaojiao, the Shanghai Urban planning exhibition hall
In the morning, you will drive 1 hour to Zhujiajiao, which is a typical water town in Jiang’nan area. After lunch, you will be back to Shanghai and visit the Shanghai Urban planning exhibition hall
Zhujiajiao -- Located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains.
The Shanghai Urban planning exhibition hall -- it is located on Renmin Square (People Square). It covers an area of over 0.4 hectare and rises 142 feet high. There are five floors above the ground and two underground. It opened to the public in 2000. This hall was built to show the achievement of Shanghai city planning and construction. It has many functions, such as exhibition, reference, research, communication, recreation and entertainment.
Day 4
Shanghai / Exit ( B )
Be free until be met and transferred to the airport for the flight to the next destination.
