Arrive / Lhasa
You will arrive at the Gonggar Airport and be greeted by your tour guide. Then you will drive to Lhasa and have a rest in the afternoon at a 4 star hotel.
Day 2
Lhasa ( B,L,D )
Tour sites: the Jokhang Temple, the Barkhor Street, the Carpet Factory, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital, the Drepung Monastery.
The Jokhang Temple -- Located in central Lhasa in Tibet.It is included on UNESCO's World Heritage list in 2000 as part of the Potala Palace. The Jokhang Temple is l With an area of 25,100 square meters (about six acres), it is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Pilgrims.
The Barkhor Street -- is a very ancient round street surrounding the Jokhang Temple and the Tibetan people are always proud of it. As a symbol of Lhasa, this street is also a must-see place for the tourists.
Lhasa Carpet Factory -- It is situated at Hebalin to the east of the old city of Lhasa. It is one of the remarkable enterprises in Tibet Autonomous Region, mainly producing traditional Tibetan carpets.
The Drepung Monastery -- Situated at the foot of the Mountain Gambo Utse, 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from the western suburb of Lhasa, the Drepung Monastery is known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. It is considered one of the 'Three Great Monasteries' (the other two are the Ganden Monastery and the Sera Monastery.
Day 3

Tour sites: the Norbulingka Park, the Sera Monastery, the Potala Palace, the Tibetan Family visiting
Today you will visit Norbulingka Park and the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.
The Norbulingka Park -- Norbulingka, meaning 'Treasure Park' in Tibetan, is situated in the western suburb of Lhasa City, at the bank of the Kyichu River, about one km (about 0.6 mile) southwest of Potala Palace. The garden covers an area of 360,000 square meters (about 430,000 square yards), with 374 rooms inside. It is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet Autonomous Region.
The Sera Monastery -- The Sera Monastery at the foot of Tatipu Hill is located in the northern suburb of Lhasa City. It is one of three famous monasteries in Lhasa along with the Drepung Monastery and the Ganden Monastery. The Sera Monastery is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Tsong Khapa. Jamchen Chojey, one of Tsong Khapa's disciples built the monastery in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
The Potala Palace -- It is located on the Red Hill of Lhasa, Tibet. Destroyed by lightning and war, Potala Palace had been rebuilt by the Fifth Dalai Lama in 1645. Since then, Potala Palace has become the seat of Dalai Lamas and also the political center of Tibet. The thirteenth Dalai Lama extended it to the present size, 117 meters (384 ft) in height and 360 meters (1,180 ft) in width, covering an area of more than 130, 000 sq meters (about 32 acres).

Lhasa / Exit ( B )
Be free until be met and transferred to the airport for the flight to the next destination.
