Day 1
Arrive / Harbin
The guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the baggage claim area at Harbin Airport according to your international (internal) flight schedule. Transfer you to the 3-star hotel for 3 nights stay and please relax for the rest of the day.
Day 2
Harbin ( B, L, D )
Tour sites: the Sun Island Scenic Area, the Ice Activities, the St. Sophia Church in Harbin, the Centre Street, the Ice Lantern
The Sun Island Scenic Area -- Being famous both home and abroad, it lies on the north bank of the Songhua River. This dainty area, surrounded by blue water, boasts crystal lakes, wooden rockeries, beautiful flowers and exotic buildings. In summer, the comfortable weather makes it the first choice to avoid summer heat, and in winter, the spot is a paradise for ice-snow travel. Every year, the Harbin International Snow Sculpture Art Expo held here exhibits enthralling ice or snow sculptures and architectures, attracting thousands of visitors.
The Central Street -- It is a junction where both Harbin's modern and historical civilizations can be seen. It interprets the city perfectly and has witnessed the most brilliant European cultural development for 300 years.
St. Sophia Church in Harbin -- It is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in the Far East. It is 53.3 meters (175 feet) high and occupies an area of 721 square meters (0.18 acres). In November, 1996, it was listed as one of the Key Cultural Relics under State Protection. Half a year later, the Harbin City government repaired it and renamed it as Harbin Art Gallery. It is a respectable landmark for Harbiners and for tourism.
Day 3
Harbin ( B, L, D )
Tour sites: the Provincial Museum, the Dragon Tower, the Siberian Tiger Park, the Grand World of Snow
The Siberian Tiger Park -- It is the largest felid in the world and is known as the King of the Forest. In the 1980s, it was listed as one of the first-class national protected animals of China. To preserve this valuable species, the Siberian Tiger Park was built in 1996.
The Dragon Tower -- which embodies the wisdom of the Chinese people is a must on your journey.
Day 4
Harbin / Exit
Private transfer takes you to the airport and your pleasant China tour ends here.
