Arrive / Guangzhou

Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Guangzhou Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 2
Guangzhou ( B, L )

Tour sites: the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Five Ram Statue.

Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial Hall -- Being one of the famous symbols of Guangzhou City, it is a grand octagonal building endowed with strong ethnic flavor. Between 1929 and 1931, Guangzhou citizens and overseas Chinese raised funds for its construction in memory of Dr. Sun Yatsen, the forerunner of the Chinese democratic revolution. Nowadays, many important public meetings and activities are held in it, such as the anniversary celebrations of Sun Yatsen, Guangzhou International group wedding ceremony and the performances celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao.

The Five-Ram Statue in Yuexiu Park -- Being one of the most famous scenic sights in Guangzhou City, it is carved from 130 pieces of granite. There is a beautiful legend about it. Over 2,000 years ago, Guangzhou is a wasted land where people were suffering from famine. One day, five immortals rode five rams with wheat heads in their mouths. The wheat heads were left for Guangzhou People and from then on, Guangzhou has become a rich place. Come here and watch the Five-Ram Statue, you will be deeply moved by its lifelike and smooth lines.

Day 3
Guangzhou / Exit

Tour sites: the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, the Qingping Market, the Shamian Island

Visit the Temple of Six Banyan Trees, the Qingping Market and the Shamian Island before transfer to the airport for the flight to the next destination.

The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees -- Located in Liurong Road, it is an ancient temple well known at home and abroad. There are many cultural heritages in the temple. In history, many celebrities have left their footprint here. Su Dongpo, a famous writer in Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127), once wrote an inscription for the temple. The serene and religious atmosphere in it may bring purification to every soul.

The Qingping Market -- Located at the intersection of Qingping Road and Tiyun Road, it attracts visitors from home and abroad for its super collection of agricultural and sideline products and Chinese medicinal materials. Visitors can find over 600 kinds of meat and poultry product, dried fruits and seafood, and flowers and birds - all are available in this street.

The Shamian Island -- Located in the Bai'e Pool in the fork of the Zhujiang River, it has a different atmosphere and the tempo of life compared to other places in Guangzhou City. There are about 150 buildings of European styles. Like most small towns in Europe, visitors can find many restaurants, cafes, and bars on the roadsides. It is regarded as the most exotic place in Guangzhou.
