Arrive / Chongqing
Our guide will pick you up at Chongqing airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Chongqing / Dazu / Chongqing ( B, L )
Tour sites: the Dazu Grottoes
Be transferred to Dazu County to visit the Dazu Rock Carvingsincluding the North Cliff of Rock Sculpture and the Baoding Carvings. 50,000 stone sculptures of all sizes scatterred throughout area. Be transferred back to Chongqing after the whole day tour.
Dazu Rock Carvings -- The Dazu Rock Carvings contains all the cliffside carvings in Dazu County. The collection is composed of the rock carvings in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan as well as Shizhuanshan, all of which are of the highest artistic attainment and demonstrate the most exquisite skills.
Day 3
Chongqing / Exit ( B, L )
Tour sites: the General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum, the Chongqing Zoo
Today, have a city tour to the the General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum and the Chongqing Zoo before transferred to the airport for the flight to the next destination.
The General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum -- It is situated in the Yuzhong Region of Chongqing, and occupies an area of 7.2 mu (about 1.2 acres). It was founded in memory of Joseph W. Stilwell, an American general who contributed a great deal to the Chinese people. Since the museum opened to the public in 1991, tens of thousands of visitors from home and overseas have been there.
The Chongqing Zoo -- The zoo is located at the western suburb of the main urban area. It occupies more than 60 hectares of land. There are 230 kinds of more than 4500 rare and precious wild animals be shown in this zoo throughout the year, among them 80 percent of the animals belong to world rare species and national protecting important animals. Pandas are most popular among of that.
