Arrive / Chongqing
Arrive at Chongqing. Be met by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from airport. Be transferred to hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Chongqing / Exit
Tour sites: the Erling Park, the Chongqing Zoo, the Stiwell Musuem, the Ciqikou Old Town
Today we will have a city tour before we transfer to the pier for the cruise departs in the evening.
The Erling Park -- one of the best places to have a birds-eye-view of the whole city and get a general idea of the Yangtze River.
The Chongqing Zoo -- The zoo occupies more than 60 hectares of land and there are 230 kinds of more than 4500 rare and precious wild animals be shown in this zoo throughout the year. Among them 80 percent of the animals belong to world rare species and national protecting important animals. Pandas are most popular among of that. Visitors can actually play with them and take pictures with them.
The Stiwell Musuem -- with its intriguing collection of World War ll memorabilia of the famed Flying Tigers.
he Ciqikouancient town -- an old town with traditional Chongqing style buildings, tea houses, and Sichuan Opera houses.
