Day 1
Arrive / Beijing
Be picked by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from airport. Be transferred to hotel. After a short rest in hotel, visit the Forbbideen City. Transfer back to the hotel after the tour.
Forbidden City -also called Palace Museum, is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex.
Day 2
Beijing ( B, L )
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am. Our tour today includes the famous Great Wall at Mutianyu Section and the Sacred Road. Drive back to Beijing after the tour.
Mutianyu section at Great Wall --the most famous section of Great Wall, wellmaintained. The views from this section were amazing! The wall has been beautifully restored and maintained.
Sacred Road -- the path lined with stone statues of animals, mystical beasts and officials who serve the emperor in his afterlife, through which the sitting emperors would go to perform memorial rituals for the ancestors once a year.
Day 3
Beijing ( B, L, D )
Today we will visit the Temple of Heaven, the Lama Temple and the Summer Palace. Enjoy the famous Peking Opera in the evening.
Lama Temple -- a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism. It is the only downtown Buddhism
temple in Beijing. Summer palace -- 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.
Beijing Opera -- is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts. It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures.
Day 4
Beijing / Exit ( B, L )
Today we will have a special Hutong tours by rickshaw before transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
BeijingHutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient BeijingHutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake and Bar Street.
