Payment guide

Deposit & Final Payment

Tour price may increase and decrease due to the air schedule, surface transportation, hotel arrangement or other suppliers’ reasons and/or events beyond our control, so payment will be calculated and charged accordingly.

A deposit which is equal to 10% of the total tour cost (full amount) is required at the time of booking, however it may different depending on different destinations and hotels. The balance( final payment) is required 30 days prior to the departure for your China tour. Please note that failure to comply with the payment schedule may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation.

Full payment is required for late bookings which are bookings made within 30 days of the departure date for your China tour. The deadline for full payment will be 15 days prior to the first day of customers' China tour.

For those early birds who take our tour packages and hopefully pay full payment 60 days before the departure for your China tour, we are glade to give them 3% discount of total payment. Please note that only tour package bookings can enjoy this discount.

For day trips, hotel bookings or other special events, full payment of the total tour fare is required once you confirm the booking.

Payment Methods


PayPal is a fast, easy, and secured payment method with over 100 million users around the world. It is widely accepted by global brands such as Dell and StarBucks. It is also accepted by China Holidaycts for your worry-free payment.

* How to pay by PayPal:
Follow the secured PayPal online payment link that your travel adviosr sends to you in the email, you can log in to your PayPal account and click on the "pay" button to complete your payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still complete your PayPal payment by providing your credit card information. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and debit cards. Please contact your travel advisor to request our PayPal account.

* Important Note:
If you choose Paypal, you are required to pay an extra 2.8 % of the total amount as the Paypal handling fee. We will email you and confirm your booking after we receive the confirmation from our Paypal account. Also please inform us if you have paid by Paypal for your booking.

Credit Card (with Authorization Fax)
Authorization by fax is preferred because it is safer. Right now we DO NOT provide online credit card payment. We accept Visa Card, MasterCard.

*How to complete the credit card authorization:
By choosing this way, you will receive a Credit Card Authorization Form sent through us by e-mail. Then you should fill out the form with your VALID credit card information (card type, number, card holder's name, billing address and card holder's signature, etc.), and then fax it back to us at 86-773-2853589 with the clear copy of the two sides of your credit card. If you prefer, you can scan the completed documents and email them to us. After we receive your authorization documents, we will acknowledge the receipt by sending you an email, and then we will send the documents to the Bank of China which will help us.

* Important Note:
Please note that handling fee is required by bank for every deal. The amount is varied from bank to bank. Hence, besides the whole price, an extra of 3% of the total payment will be charged as the handling fee via credit card. To ensure your booking, you could fax the copy of the bank transaction receipt to 86-773-2816929 or 2853589 or email to your travel advisor.

The rules of the Chinese Government do not allow us to charge in foreign currencies. Credit card payments charged in CNY are based upon the prevailing rates in China. Your card issuing bank will debit you in local currency and China-Special will have no control on the conversion rate used by your card company. The result is that the amount charged from your credit card might be slightly different from the amount on the credit card authorization form.
We cannot accept credit card payment if you confirm the booking and pay us less than 10 days prior to your arrival date. In this case the only way to pay us is by Western Union service.

Wire Transfer (Regular Bank Transfer)
If you book your tour 30 days before your departure date, you may choose to make the payment by wire transfer which is easy to do . However it could take 3 days to 7 days for the payment to reach us. So we cannot accept wire transfer for bookings made less than 20 days prior to the arrival dates.

* Important Note:
After you transfer the money, please make a copy of bank transaction receipt or stub after transfer, and then fax to us or mail to your travel advisor. Please write your travel consultant's name on the postscript when you transfer the money. Once we have received your receipt, we will start to secure the booking.
